We are a family of 5, and during Covid, my three daughters, my wife and I, like many others, sought out the outdoors as a respite. As we researched some of our amazing hikes, we couldn't help but notice many people wanting to celebrate and post about bagging their summits. We think that's fantastic!! We all ought to celebrate our life accomplishments!! However, these impromptu celebrations were often done with a left-behind cardboard sign with the name of the summit scribbled on it. We want to do our small part to make people's sumit experiences better by eliminating the litter on our cherished outdoor spaces that can ruin the experiences of others. At the same time, the number 55 has some imbedded meaning that connects with our core values including promoting a sense of adventure, exploration, and encouraging personal growth as well as promoting positive and physical well-being for all.
