HOW IT STARTED
During the 2020 Covid pandemic, my daughters and I recognized that the outdoors offered a respite and rewarding activity that we could do safely together. In doing so, we discovered we are capable of achieving things beyond what we thought possible. We also wanted a memento to celebrate and remember those achievements.
So we started 5ummit 5omething to:
- Provide people with a meaningful way to celebrate shared experiences
- Create cherished mementos for people to wear proudly or hang on their wall to remember these great outdoor experiences
- Encourage people to enjoy the journey and discover what’s possible
- Spread the word to discard those cardboard signs and wave a summit flag instead!
